I'd like to get some pictures this year of events and courses. If anyone visits Lombard or Aurora a lot i'd like to add those 2.

The Beveir Page needs to be completed with the alternates. I also need to get new pictures of hole #6.

I'd like to get more photos of Adler and get a page rolling there. We get a ton of hits thru PDGA course directory.

If anyone else would like to get a course page from their area going feel free to send them to us. Take a picture from the tee, middle of the fairway, and from the basket looking back to the tee. Also type up a hole by hole description. Similar to this->http://discontinuum.org/course_directory/illinois/fairfield/fairfield-hole1.html

Brett, Lombard (Madison Meadows) is done. I just have to resize them and upload them to the pictures area.

no need to resize, the gallery will do that for you.

I thought it took longer to do it that way. My pictures are 5MP and to upload them at that size just to have the online thingy resize them seems like a waste of time. Unless the desktop tool that I installed in order to upload does the resize first.

You can have Windows resize them using the web publishing feature if that's what you have installed, but if you want to resize them yourself thats fine too.

I was going to take some last weekend but I wanted to wait until the grass is green and the leaves are on the trees. If this is the only time you can take them that is cool. Having winter pictures is better than not having them at all.

Most excellent. I took some of Bevier Park mid to late May a few years ago. Those pictures look sweet. It would be nice to get them up before the tournament which takes place in September. That should get us plenty of time.

So you know we're doing an IOS tournament on your course right?  Did you see the Name that Tournament poll?  What do you want it to be named?

I found this on the web today and thought it was pretty cool.  I don't have a clue how it works, but I'd be willing to help do this for this site if it was realistic.  Anyone ever seen this before??

I suppose it helps to actually add the link.

That should be a little better.

Yah, playdg.com is a great site. Unrealistic, but it would be great if the whole PDGA directory was done in that format. You'd get a REAL representation of the park, not a 2-3 sentence "blurb" like in the directory. Of course no one wants their course to be: "Crappy Short course"

Seems if the directory was in that format it would promote better courses as no one would drive to play something that looked like a BS course. Just my $0.02.

If someone here knew how to get/apply the software, I'd be willing to do the pics for Fairfield, Crystal Lake, Adler, Parkside, etc.  I'm mostly computer illiterate, but can use my camera just fine.
