I was just wondering how many spots were open still because I was planning on coming back from school to play.  Dulek is going to be my partner and we were wondering if we really needed to preregister or if showing up saturday would be fine.
Thanks,
Brian Lahey

There are currently 23 of 40 spots filled. 11 of those are actual paid teams but the others have locked in their spots by either e-mailing or posting on this board. I have no problem doing that.

Brian, is Dulek's first name Biran too?

For those of you who have contacted me. Please check in by 9AM.

Wow, what a great day to play some disc golf today!  35 teams is huge.

Brett did an awesome job running the event which went very smoothly and everybody had alot of fun it seemed.

Tourney was a ton of fun and having brett as your partner makes things pretty easy!  :D  Thanks to Tom McManus for donating that autographed GCC wraith, it will look sweet on my wall  ;D

Adrian Jr./Sr.  played really awesome today.  congratulations guys.  that was impressive.  I played with Neal the 2nd round and saw him make alot of impressive shots as well.  nice going guys.

We raised $175.00 for a practice basket today!!!

I would like to get some feedback on the course. What did everyone think of the temp holes? We might possibly use them for IOS #7 this year.

Should I run a fall glow doubles event exactly like this one?

Thanks to everyone who put this together, it was a really good event.  I liked the temp holes, but I think I would have liked 18 more if it were a little longer, and closer to the trees.  14A was a great hole.

I am so sunburned.

Notes for Fairfield Dubs:

Brett did a great job. Everything ran very smooth. I didn't hear of any complaints at all. The only minor problem was that there was a ton of chuckers on the course when the second round started. And it wasn't that big of a problem.

I really liked the 14a basket. Great pin placement. Splitting 18 in two was also nice in order to accommodate more participants into the tournament. Throwing rhbh it would have been nice to see the basket closer to the tree line, but it would have made the hole easier for lefties. So in my opinion the placement was ideal.

On a personal note, it always fun playing with the Adrian's.  Adrian Sr. is the only guy I know that puts with a driver, and the way he putted yesterday has me thinking about making a change...   During the second round I had a chance to play with Brian Custer and Tee-rrell. Ryan throws an unbelievable tomahawk.  He almost aced 11 with that throw.  It goes without saying that Mike Clark is a great partner. His daughter Amber caddied for him and she really did a great job.

Again great job by Brett, it would have been nice to see the Discontinuum name attached to this tourney.

What did everyone think of the $45.00-Am & $65.00-Pro entry fees. Low, just right, or too high. I'd like to know so I can make adjustments for glow doubles in the fall.

Just wanted to tip my hat to Neal, Robbie, Luke, KVN, Dan, Luke, Brian, Bill, & Nate for stepping up to the pro division. It evened the playing field out in both divisions.
