Still working on my terminology

Ok, I think I've started to see enough different type of throws to figure out what a lot of the terminology means (like if a disc is "flippy", etc).  I knew what a hyzer was, but wasn't really sure what a sweeping hyzer would look like until I heard the contrast, a spike hyzer.  I was then able to immediately understand the difference between the two of those because I have definitely seen both of those types of throws.

One throw that I'm not quite sure what is talked about is a flex shot.  Does that simply mean that it's a flexible type of disc that can be used for a wide range of "get out of trouble" things? or is there an actual throw that can be called a "flex shot"?

I think the rest of the terminology I'm pretty comfortable with (so far at least! lol)

if you throw rhbh, a disc that is flippy is one that tends to turn to the right during early to mid flight and doesn't tend to come out of the turn.

for me, a flex shot is a drive where you throw 15-20 feet off the ground & your drive tracks slightly to the right before fading to the left.

Some people call that flex shot a helix, even though helix means something else entirely.  Some call it an S.

So it's sort of just like a short S-Curve shot (eg. Valkyrie only for a short distance?)  If that's the case I've been doing that type of throw a lot more frequently recently with my champ coyote   At least now it seems to be making more sense!  Thanks

flex shot means you throw anhyzer, but you use an overstable enough disc that it "flexes" back out to the left.
