Hope everyone can make it.  Attached is a flyer, I should have a few laminated for next week.

Is that what the discs made of his ashes are supposed to look like? I thought the stamp for the tourney is the same as the logo on the Word doc....
Don't forget your towel!

I think it means that there is a 30% chance that it will rain sometime during the evening (or whatever is your stated time period).

Now, a 30% chance of rain certainly doesn't bring with it the statement of 'wet and windy saturday', however....

the 70% chance of precip after 5PM I saw on TWC this morning certainly makes it more likely...

Get that packing tape well secured on your discs and you won't lose the lightsticks! :)
Don't forget your towel!

Flyers wil be up at Bevier by Friday;  websites will be updated by Saturday.

Sounds GREAT!  I hope this event gets tons of players!

I will also email Gary Lewis (Joliet area) and Tom Christensen (Buffalo Grove area) flyers to post.....

Shawn - Scoreboards are looking good. If it rains, will the scoreboards be covered or sheltered from the storm?

Will 11:00-11:30 be OK for me to show up with the scoreboards?

Just let me know what time.

Brett and I are carpooling from Bevier. Does anyone else need directions or a ride?

jim

Thanks for doing so much work, you old dog.  What else do you need besides the scoreboards?

What is the official UWP stance on alcohol on the course/parking lots?

jim

Shawn, please get me the scores and list of folks who need to be publicly thanked. I want to updates the website(s).

jim

What a fab tourney! Long basket positions were great! Shawn, Paul, Craig, Ed Wallen, Dennis Miller, and the UWP staff did a great job! Sweet plaques (at least for Brett who took #2 in Advanced)!  THANKS!

I should have laminated copies for you guys on Friday.  Josh if you can post 1 at Dreska that would be great.  Do you need a stapler?  Jim I can get you a copy soon.  I am going climbing at Neceeda this weekend and mulching in the yard Monday so maybe I can meet you Tuesday.  This event is going in all the right directions, we have the parkside club helping us out.  They can get us food, tables, tents, notebook  w/printer and most important good beer.  What we need is disc golfers and that is where all of you come in.  We are keeping it very cheap with a good players package (disc, mini, and glowsticks), with the chance to win really nice plaques.  The disc will be a collectors as everyone is saying that this event will become as big as Worlds Biggest.  Only a dozen cities are doing it this year, so this is one stop to get this 1st disc.  Every year will be a different disc, just like W.B.'est.

Thanks guys, Craig got some posted in Madison over the weekend. So the word is getting out.

Got the disc for the event today, and we got trophies ordered.  Disc are pretty sharp.  Craig made a awsome design for the trophies.  If anyone wants to see the disc, I'll bring a few to glow tomorrow.

The disc that Jim posted are the ones with the ashes also $210 for both.  Carolyn is getting them for me for x-mas (well paying for 1/2, her idea), she wants to put them in the hall.  I have been trying to hang disc and plaques in the house for over a year with no success and then she told me I can put these up.  It's a start right, now If I can get her to let me put up my other collectable ones.

We have 2 pop up vender tents like we had at Praire Springs demo.  I should be there early to do some weed whackin, you should be able to get a few holes in if you get there at that time.  The couse will be playing 5763 ft first round and 3999ft the second round.  Oh and novice first round at 4125Ft.  Jim, I really appreciate the help with the board. I think we might not do the beer afterwards they want us to hire one of their bartenders at 8.50 an hour.   The school is nickel and diming us apart.  So If you want a beer we can run to the brew pub down the street and get a few growlers to go.  Can't wait to get another course in the area soon.  Too many politics with Parkside.
