Well, I predicted these scores.

Intermediate -12

Advanced -16

Pro -25



I'm not certain about the Pro's. I may be +/-1 on Hutters(Pro Winner) actaul score

Indiana?   Do you really think that your going to get a lot of people from Indiana?  Most will be from southern Wisconsin and northern Illinois.  I know that there is a mileage rule about events, how far away are the 2 from each other?

Now all the course needs is a few large trees on the open holes.  And it would be sweet..eer.

Only complaints that I heard were the Pro's and I agree with what they said.  From what I heard there was only about 10 or so open players and others were turned away.  They said that out of the 90 players so many should have been AM's and so many Pros.  It could easily be fixed with 2 days.  But hey, 1st one, good job guys.

I suddenly wanna play rec.  :D



-12 is a pretty big score for Am's.  I hope it'll be more realistic at like -5 to -8.  I can at least try to keep up then.  -12 is way out of my league.

I'm with Damon and Jay on this one.  Prereg was available how many months in advance of the tourney?  Enough to get 40+ people I guess.  Seems like that would have been enough time for a Pro that really wants to compete to register IMHO.  I mean, I prereg'd on the last day because I knew that if I didn't get there at 6am the day of the tourney, I wasn't going to get to play.  Oh well, that's all water under the bridge now I guess.

Okay so came up with an idea for the logo. I want to give props to Brett though, he sent me a logo he came up with last night and I like his idea so pretty much stole it.  :-) Sorry I didn't msg you back btw Brett, was doing some work.

Yeah as Jim mentioned the stiry fry logo is a trademark of Rick at DGW. We looked into using that logo once before, but never got around to checking with Rick. Figured he might be okay with it since he's a club sponsor.



Anyways had two or 3 different ideas that I am going to work on today I will post them as I finish them.

Thats what I had thought of when I made the design was for a hot stamp.



What do you think of it Bruce, I accept all comments good and bad. I thought the basket in the illinois pictuer would look cool, especially depending on the color disc. get a z plastic in some cool color would look cool shining through.

OKay heres the proto for another variant of the same idea. I have another variant I am working on to..



Damon ] I like your ideas and will incorporate them into the next design, I already had this one done.



I also plan on cleaning up the stirfry design a bit.



Also I would like to thank one of our missing club members Aaron Bowers for his help. He's a Photoshop/Illustrator genius.

Once I get the other basic variant posted, Im going to start messing with the font type and size(plus additional info like course added) at moment and just working on a bsic design and seeing how it goes.



Btw, watch out Damon I'm gunning for you. With Steve C in upper now, I'm only 6 pointe behind you for first :-)

Im making a page on the site for the Open. Which email do you want listed? the aol one or a discontinuum one? Oh and yes, I was giggling at you :-) Not bad though!



After showing Brett today here's the design I am going to use for the logo on the site unless there are any objections. As always  comments are always welcome.

Well since the stir fry basket is a no go, me and Aaron have come up with another basket design. So here they are one with a disc and one without.



I also may have two more designs to show depending on wether or not I get permission from the copr right holders... Anyways what do you all think of these?

What do you think of the no disc design in general?? Would you like to see that logo on the Illinois Open info page? Or any suggestions on what you think would make it better?
