How I spent my saturday - Partial Nudity

So, not sure how many of you are boaters, but if you are, you should have been at the Petite Lake Sandbar this Saturday for the Swing Crew Party. It's an annual Mardi Gras themed party on the water. This has been my third year going to this thing and I must say, I will never miss another one. If you were to hit the chain of lakes up only one time a year, this would be the time to do it. I know two groups of people who now rent pontoons for the day. I got a few pictures from the party with me now, and I'll have a lot more later. Let me know if I should post more

Definately dude. Even if you don't have access to a boat, it's worth getting a dozen people to rent a pontoon for the day. (~$300 for the day)
The party starts the night before while people camp out on the water and reserve the close spots for the following day. We rolled up there around 9 AM and it was already starting to get packed! The unoffical count of boats out there (via aerial photo) was 638.

They had a party like that on Cass Lake a couple of weekends ago.  The Keego Harbor marine police called in the county sheriff's marine patrol  because when they tried to break it up everyone just moved their boats a few feet outside the Keego jurisdiction.  So the marine patrol started arresting people for open intoxicants in a vehicle and disorderly conduct.  This is why I come to Illinois once a month.  Michigan is like Puritan New England!
