question (turn vs. anhyzer)--added by Mod

What exactly does it mean to turnover a disc. i keep reading about thorwing a disc to hard and turning it over. sorry for the dumb new guy question.

This is where your disc goes the opposite direction of your natural fade.  If you throw right-handed, your natural fade will curve to the left (hyzer).  When you turn a disc over, it will curve to the right (anhyzer) instead of going left.  A Stingray is a great example of a disc that will turn over easily when thrown.  The sidewinder, roadrunner, stratus, and xpress are also all good examples of discs that will turn over (and you don't have to kill it when you throw it either).

It's hard to explain in text, much easier to show on the course!

The difference between turn and anhyzer is you anhyzer a disc by the angle of release, but you turn a disc by how hard you throw it, and to some extent, how little spin you put on it.
