2007 Bag Tag Design Contest

There is going to be a design contest for 2007 bag tags again. The winner of this design gets a free 2007 membership & bag tag.

Here is what the bag tag needs to include.
1. DISContinuum Disc Golf Club or DISContinuum DGC
2. www.discontinuum.org
3. 2007 Bag Tag Challenge
4. Obviously a place for a #

Here are the specs for each shape.
The round tag is 3.5" across
The shield is 3 x 3.5
The rectangle is 3.5 x 4.5
In all designs, please leave 1/4" margin on all sides.


Here is how the process is going to work.


You can only submit 1 design.
Submit the design to Mirth @ webmaster@discontinuum.org
They must be submitted by 11:59PM CST on 10/31/06.

Please do not post designs on the message board. Mirth is going to be the only member that knows who the designer is. If you want to submit it from some e-mail address that he does not recognize, that is fne. We want to keep this anonymous until a design has won the contest.

If there are more than 4 submissions, the club board is going to vote & narrow the submissions down to 4

Those 4 (if 4) will be posted on the club members section of the message board and voted for by the membership. A winner will be declared & bag tags will be ordered. We plan on having the tags by January 1, 2007.

Yes, but I don't know whether they want to go that way. 

Brett, how many tags did the club sell this year?  If I come up with a sponsored design, can the ballot indicate "If this design wins, the club will receive X number of whatever from the sponsor"?  If so, I'll try to sell the idea to the sponsor.

Can I throw in there that if possible to make designs in Illustrator or CorelDraw or some other vector based program.  If we can thats cool cause then I can use the artwork to try and produce a trophy for the upcoming year.
