So I was looking around the net today and found out this fact, Illinois currently has 43 courses with a lot of them being down south. Meanwhile Texas is boasting 94 courses! So I see lets beat them, granted this prolly wont happen, but we could definitely do with some more courses. So since everyone is familiar with different areas, I want to know where some good areas for a new course would be! Then lets make it happen!

Happy frolfing!

p.s. and yes I know this easier said than done, but it never hurts to try!

Last year, I made a strong effort to get one installed in Waukegan at a Lake County Forest Preserve site. It fell on deaf ears. Not interested one bit.

Since, we've been dancing around with the Waukegan Park District and are making good progress, but have no immediate plans.  Our current thought is to see if we can come up with a chunk of the cash and see if they'll change their tune.

Gurnee and Zion are good places to try.  That's on our list of things to do. New courses are always a lot of trouble, but well worth it after they're in the ground!  But our first priority right now is to ensure a fun and successful Bevier Blast! Woo-hoo!
