I will be out at the park for a round at 10:00 AM. If we have enough guys we can play some doubles.  All concrete tees.

Big Christmas Eve turn out.  KVN and I.  $.25 skins for 18 holes. KVN took me for $.50.  New Years Eve last week of Fall Leagues next Sunday.

How were the conditions?  Damon and I went to Fink (not as far north) and it was extremely wet.  After taking a slide in the mud on 9 on my upshot I had enough.  Its a shame since it was such a nice day.  Hey, not complaining as its better to play in the mud than not play at all.

The ground is saturated.  We played both rounds from the concrete tees so it wasn't too bad.  Looks like the park district did a little bit of work in the fairway of hole number 8. The area needs some more chips. It appears they spread out what was there for ground cover.  It may get very muddy if it doesn't freeze up.

It doesn't take much to get Fink soggy.  When we did the 9-Hole Turkey Bowl that place was very soggy when all of the other courses were not all that soggy at all (it was about 2 or 3 days after a lot of rain).

I remember last winter... most courses were very soggy almost at all times, and this winter seems to be shaping up to be very similar so far.
