Played here late Saturday in the last hour or so of light on a very windy day.  I saw that Bruce and Airspuds posted about this course in the TADGA Ice Bowl thread.  Its a very short course.  I guess about 4500 or so ft.  I did not check PDGA. Moderately right handed course.  There are no tee signs.  On some of the concretes there is a plaque on the ground telling you where the hole is and what the distance it.  I had to spend some time finding the next tees.  However, the layout was pretty intelligible and with the exception of going from 9 to 10 it wasn't too hard to figure out.  It was very very wet on the course with some standing water.  The tee pads are quite small.  With the wet conditions you really had to start and end your run up on the concrete.  The short course played slightly longer because of this. Its a nice park with mature trees.  It looks like a nice place to hang out on a summer day but an unexciting disc golf course. I was happy to get out and play 18 quick holes since I was already  in Toledo.  I guess if I lived there I would be happy to have an 18 holer nearby.  That certainly beats anything in the near north suburbs here!! However, its not a destination course.

None of the TADGA courses are destination courses.  Toledo is a disc golf armpit.  Toledo is an armpit in every way and disc golf is just one example!   ;D

I disagree, My wife's family lives in Sylvania, OH a Toledo suburb. While Toledo itself may not have great courses inside the city limits I have played at Vienna Park - Temperence, Michigan which is just north of Toledo and really enjoyed it I also like the looks of Parmalee Park - Lambertville, Michigan, I did a walk through and hope to play it this xmas when I'm visiting the inlaws

I do agree with the fact that Ottaw is not all that great

LOL! I've got a buddy from Toledo & he confirms this, but he didn't know about disc golf until he came here, so he couldn't comment on the courses.

He claims to have known that Toledo is an armpit for 30+ years....

Vienna is a solid course, nothing spectacular, but challenging enough from the longs.  Parmalee is not what I would call a good course.  Good practice for throwing through 5 ft wide gaps; the holes out of the words are ok.  And yes Ottawa is a bad disc golf course.  Poorly designed (designed in the 80s) and an average hole length of probably 240ft.  I played doubles there and my group and another group shot -16 on 18 holes.

I'm originally from Ann Arbor, and I would usually play the Vienna tournaments, but rarely any of the others.  Not worth any sort of a drive.
