2007 IOS Overalls

Beats me.  I'm liking the artwork Kelsey submitted for an overalls fund raiser disc.  I'm going with it. 

Here's something new for 2007:  First place winners will get their brass in a nifty little pirate bag.  If you don't want a nifty little pirate bag you can sell it back to me for 3 brass, but probably someone else would offer you 4 brass for it.  So you can keep it or spend it.  Kira just paid three brass to get one.  Then she filled it up with her brass.  She got the concept immediately.

Well, we're going into IOS #2 and I still haven't ordered those super color discs.  I think mainly I don't want to take the risk that the concept is a dud.  A lot of disc golfers are sheep and will buy anything their fearless leaders tell them to, but you guys have been fed too much of my cynicism for that.  Or you're from Chicago, so you can see through this kind of thing.  It's the same reason why I won't do the Innova CFR thing.  It's just a gimmick to take advantage of the gullible.  And it involves a lot of record keeping because you have to apply the proceeds from the fundraising discs to the fundraising purpose. 

As to the pirate bags, I used all of them at my doubles tournament and most of them did not come back.  People seemed to like the idea of having a little pouch in their disc golf bag for change or whatever and for 3 brass they thought it was a good deal.
