It's almost the end of 2006.  Any disc golf resolutions for 2007?

I have two and a half:

1. break 940 rating

2. fire out a round of >1000.

2.5. Win in the men's advanced division.

I almost did all of that in 2006.  Came really close on the 1000 rated round.

I'm shooting for:

Make every putt [inside ten meters] at a tournament
Win an IOS in advanced
Win IOS Season Points in advanced
Take the rating to 950

What i'm working on to get there is righty accuracy, lefty distance and putting from 20 to 30 feet out.

1. Have my website up and running at the beginning of the year and thriving by the middle of the year.

2. Figure out a putting stance that helps me remain accurate, consistent release point, and doesn't aggravate my knees and back after every throw.

3. Lose weight so that I can accomplish #2 in a better fashion.

4. Consistent arm angle on release for drives.  I've been getting better at this, still needs work.

1.  Try to get more pissed off on the course if something bad happens.

2.  Destroy my new bag.

3.  Spend less money on cocaine.

4.  Get in a fist fight with Tom McManus.

5.  Give time to charitable organizations such as the big brother/big sister program.

6.  Avoid making child payments for the new Pitner child.

Not sure how you will do on 2-6.  If you can get close to handling #1 you will be unbeatable next year.

"3. Spend less money on cocaine"

This week is prisoner motion week.  I'm writing orders and opinions on motions filed by prisoners.  I have this one motion for resentencing.  The defendant provided information in exchange for a no-jail-time sentence on an offense where jail time was almost mandatory.  The only way to accomplish that was to sentence him to the Zero Tolerance Program, which is an out patient drug treatment probation thing.  So the defendant is asking to be sentenced to jail time because he cannot do Zero Tolerance.

We don't have a Four Tolerance Program but on day two of Zero Tolerance he tested positive for recent use of cocaine, alcohol, morphine, methamphetamine and some substance druggies take to try to prevent blood tests for registering positive for trace amounts.

I'm five criminals away from a two week vacation...
