Yeah, no pros and juniors ever under any circumstances, unless the junior is playing in the pro division, like when my girls play in the pro women division.

The second best way to avoid playing with juniors, if that is your issue, is to pre-register and check in early.  Guys who get on the leaderboard early get on cards for their division.  Generally it is the players who pay late or check in late who are the fifth player with four juniors.  And, don't be DFL.  In the afternoon, DFL players go where ever we need to fill cards.

The best way to avoid playing with juniors is to volunteer on the day you are not playing.

[Note: Juniors will be playing on Sunday with the lower divisions.]

Who would be better at teaching the juniors than the more experienced players rather than the Recreational players.

And unfortunately a lot of the recreational players severly need training (and not just how to play better, but proper etiquette).  I'm still learning!  Unless the pro players play REALLY fast, I wouldn't think that juniors will get in the way (i've played on the card close to them twice and never had a problem)

Generally, there are less juniors.  If the juniors play from different tees we may have an issue with not having enough propogators amongst the juniors.  Generally, the boys who play IOS tournaments are very good players and quite competetive with the advanced players.  I suspect most of them would play from the same tees with no problem unless we got a lot more U13 type players.  Girls are another story. Although most of them still play better than I do that is still a far cry from playing the same tees as advanced players.  I would assume most junior girls would prefer to play the same tees as the Rec/Int players rather than the advanced/pro players (even if their daddy was running the tournament and telling them otherwise. ;D).

Upon further review, juniors will be playing on Sunday like last year.  Because the prior ruling regarding juniors has been overruled the challenging players will not be assessed a timeout.   ::)

I used my powers as monitor of this thread to remove my junior announcement and to remove any quotes to it so that no one reading part of this thread will get confused.  The words:
