Hey everyone!

Plenty of disc golf taking place these days so I figured I'd give somewhat of an overview of the next few months.

Saturday, January 13th (this weekend)
Random Beaver Round Up III is taking place in Beaver Dam.  There might be a light dusting of snow before then but the course is very dry and very short and easy.  This event has attracted nearly 40 people each year and we already have almost 20 pre-registered!  Come on out for a good time.

Monday, January 15th
The Milwaukee County Sports Complex is hosting another INDOOR DISC SPORTS night at 8:30PM.  Cost is just $5 and you can throw discs around INDOORS!  Come support this otherwise they will not offer it for the additional 2 nights this winter season.

Saturday, January 20th
Madtown Throwdown  is another doubles event which will take place at Hiestand.  Please bring some canned foods as they will be donated to the Atwood Center.

Saturday / Sunday - January 27/28
Big Chill website has all of your info.  Again, doubles in winter so it should be a great time.

Saturday, February 17th
Green Bay Frozen Tundra Classic is now in it's 3rd year of raising food and money for Paul's Pantry of Green Bay.  He also has a cool looking  website  done up for the event.  Please bring some food for the needy.  This is again a doubles event.

I hope this helps bring you up to speed with some of the things going on in the next few months.

Terry,
Will the Wisconsin Tour Warm Up be 2 days of all divisions like last year, or will it be split Pro/ADV one day and Int/Rec one day?
Which Days?

Great question!

If I had to give an educated guess I would say that we will LIKELY have Rec/Jr/Int play on Saturday while having the Adv/Open divisions play on Sunday.  That is what I am leaning toward right now.  Once they give me the final ok on the dates I'll make that final decision!

Also, this course is LOTS of fun and they have added MORE cement tees so this is SURE to fill up once I get registration information confirmed.  Don't delay on this bad boy.  I had to turn people away on Saturday then offer a Sunday event just to accommodate everyone!

Thanks,

Ter

I was curious who Mark Shark is.  He's listed as Barry's partner for the Big Chill, but he's not a PDGA member.  Just curious if he's a friend or something like that.

With less than 60 days days till the event I am surprised there is no date posted here or PDGA.com. If you want people to pre-reg there should be more notice so it is not a last minute fire drill.

Hey Mitch!

Thanks for addressing this.  I'm glad I put this event down as TENTATIVE because my fears came true - they wanted me to move dates.

So without further waiting ... I have ALL of the correct and final details for everyone.  All event info can be found on one of two pre-registration pages.  I'll have a generic flier sometime soon but all of your questions should be answered with these sites.  As always - you are welcome to mail in your entry if you do not wish to pay the online fee.  I'd just do it early because you don't want to be in limbo.  And ... note that there will be ZERO Saturday registration (for Saturday players).  I'll take money Saturday evening for Sunday players if there is still room.

Enough of me babbling:
