Ok so I'm thinking of joining the Adler league this year but I have some questions for those who played in it last year.

1. When does it start?
2. How many people usually show up?
3. Is it more of a drink beer and throw around league or a serious league?
4. What days and what time is it?
5. What kind of format is it? (best shot, individual, etc...)

Thanks,
Brian

It usually starts the 1st Tuesday after Daylight Savings Time begins.

Turnouts usually vary from 20-40 people.

It is as serious as any other league that I have played.

It is each Tuesday.  Time usually starts at 530 pm I think and eventually pushes back to 6pm as the days grow longer.

It is random draw best shot doubles.  Players are divided into Upper and Lower pools.  Each upper pool player is matched with a lower pool player.  You can decide which pool you belong in the 1st week you show up.

idk if this is true anymore, but from what this guy says in this old thread, idk if it seems like something worth joining.

Ok, does that mean that they dont smoke weed and drink there anymore? At least I think that's what that guy was saying.

look at it this way, that thread was from what... 2002? 4 1/2 years have gone by since then. Any information is going to be at least partially out of date.

I haven't played Adler league in a couple years, but I think that discretion is the better part of valor... ;)

I played the league all year last year. It's well run and has a big turnout.

Just like any area when disc golf is brought up there is always dope & alcohol associated. I'd like to say there was neither at this league but I wouldn't be telling the truth.
