The 2007 Mayhem Open is on the books and ready to Rock and Roll.  We have made the event a two-day PDGA B Tier event.  Rec, Junior and Intermediate will all play Saturday May 5th and all Pro and Advanced players will play on Sunday May 6th.

We will be adding 4 holes to the layout to bring the total to 22 holes.  Terry Miller and Lifetime Disc Sports will be the exclusive Vendor for the event.  We have learned our lesson with Players Packages and will be providing all Amateur Divisions with $20 in Funny Money to purchase what you want instead of something that you'll never throw, never wear or never use again.

For more information go to http://www.ozdgc.com or to pre-register go to http://shop.ozdgc.com.

Just an update!

We are working on sponsorships and should have a good chuck of added cash for the pro and Am divisions.

All Amateur Divisions will receive $20 in Funny Money as your players package.  This will allow you to get something you want instead of the 45th teeshirt of the season.

Registration is available online at http://shop.ozdgc.com or you can use the attached pdf registration form.

DAY OF REGISTRATION IS $5 MORE!!!  THANK YOU FOR PREREGISTERING!!!!

Tendick is a fun course.  Nice mix of woods and open.  How many of the tees are concrete now?  How many by the time the tourney takes place?  Not too far from the northern suburbs of Chicago.  Should be a great time.

amdiscgolfer

Thanks for the good words Tom.

I would like to say that they are all Concrete but it is actually just the opposite...NONE!

We hit a snag with the Parks Department wanting more control over what happens at the course.

But we are hoping that all short pads (if not all pads) will have concrete by the end of this season.

The course is very dry for as much snow as we have had.

Another Quick update!!

Due to an oversight by a few people who shall remain nameless...mostly ME!!!  We just realized that the way the tournament was listed it seemed like it was going to be a two day event.  Let me assure you this is not the case.

Intermediate, Rec and Junior are playing Saturday and Saturday Only!

Advanced and Pro divisions are playing Sunday and Sunday Only!

Sorry for the confusion and I hope this doesn't change your mind about playing in the Mayhem Open!!!

Hey, amdiscgolfer!  I was not home when you IM'd last night.  You do have to do two TD reports when you do a split weekend event.

Thats a lot of questions to answer - Most have been answered

Tendick Park is about 30 minutes north of Milwaukee off Highway 43 in Saukville, WI - There are directions on http://www.ozdgc.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=25&Itemid=43

Bruce - I found out that the event was listed as a all in one 2 day event, all divisions playing both days.  Which as I posted above is not the case.  I talked to Terry and the PDGA and got it all taken care of.  Thanks for the help (not sarcastic)

Pre-Reg is preferred - $5 more day of event!!!!!

If there are any of you who are thinking of playing both days, there are hotels around the course - Super 8 is one of them - there is camping not to far as well, but who wants to camp the first weekend of May.

Are there any Illini Peeps coming down to the Mayhem?

We are getting about 5 regs online a day - nothing too crazy - I really wish I would have left it a 1 day event

We are looking for Women to play right now we have 1 Int Women registered.

Please go to http://shop.ozdgc.com and register today!!
