Club Invitational Trophy

The trophy is done but I couldn't remember where the thread was so I will just start this one.  Tom we will have to set up a time to meet so I can give it to you.

Awww man that's the same weekend as the Lumberjack Open. I may have to do a big travel weekend to fit them both in.

Since noone is responding that really knows... I would assume that a ll a club would have to do is talk to Tom since he is running the tourney.  I would like to see as many clubs involved as possible myself.

Tom is running the thing and he is supposed to come up with a format.  Beyond that, I don't know anything.

Yes all Illinois Clubs are invited.  I also spoke with Sergio about having a contingent from the Great Lakes Disc Golf Club.

The more the merrier i say. With 20 holes, we should be able to accomodate 80 players or so.

What can be better than free golf with a bunch of guys from all over the state? What a great venue to meet a whole bunch of people with the same passion as yourself, not to mention the CTP's there will be as well

There was one typo in the first line talking about the rounds format.  It says "1st founds", something like that.  Thanks for putting together the flyer!  That's the most information I've received about this event yet (seriously).  All I knew was the date and where, not the format or anything like that.

Does there need to be a certain number of players from 1 particular club in order for it to be included in the challenge?  I'd like to help represent the Disc Golf Alley Club of Illinois, but I don't know if there's a minimum requirement of 5 or 6 people or

Any pre-registration or anything in case the field max's out?  There are a LOT of disc golfers out here just itching to play!

We are planning on having 20 holes, So I think we could accomodate over 80 players. With having no prizes, I don't know how many people we would really attract to this event. I do not want to turn anyone away as this is to be an inclusive event, not exclusive. I don't know about preregistering at this time , I will try to set up something today or tomorrow for that.

I will talk with Tom about the # of groups to qualify for the overall.

Also, FREE CTP's and optional Ace Fund as well.
