By some miracle I was able to fly out this morning from O'Hare. My 8am flight was cancelled but after on hold with the travel agency for 45 minutes, I was able to get on the 10:15am flight.

My friend Tracey and her friends played a round this morning while I was flying out and then they stuck around to play a round once I finally got here. Emerald Isle is a very good disc golf course and I'll have to write up a little review when I'm not so tired. There's OB everywhere and I only threw out of bounds twice. A round of disc golf wound up being the right thing to do after a 4 1/2 hour flight.

I played in a short sleeve shirt and cargo pants. They all played in sweat shirts and shivered when the wind picked up. I was sweating...it was 60 degrees! I couldn't have taken much more heat. I've been sick all month until today. I didn't cough once after the plane landed. It was a great time to finally get over this cough that I've had.
