I dont think anything is going to be even remotely dry any time soon.  In particular, stay away from Streamwood, Aurora, and West Park.  Thos courses are terrible when its really wet.

I WOULD ALSO STAY AWAY FROM ROUND LAKE.WATER UP TO THE KNEES

OK, let's change the question a tad so as to get some useful info.  Which courses are the least underwater right now?  Anything bearable to play at all out there or do I just put my hip waders in the trunk a deal with it?

Bevier is usually a pretty good place to play when other courses are wet.
Grayslake was pretty decent today but still has quite a bit of snow on the ground.
How is Parkside right now?

my guess would be holes 5 & 6's baskets are nearly surrounded by water & 9's AM tee is unplayable @ parkside....

rackboy

We're heading out to Buffalo Grove today.  Hopefully it will be relatively playable.

I played Mokena yesterday, which is usually drier than most of the other Joliet-area courses.  It was a complete swamp.  If I didnt have waterproof shoes I would have been completely miserable.  2-3 inches of mud over the entire course. West Park and Channahon are probably un-playable if Mokena is that bad.

can't putt

Eagle Ridge (Oswego) is very playable.  Even after 50 people tromped around it for two rounds yesterday.  Yes, there is some mud and some of the tees have small puddles and are a little soft, but overall the course is in very good shape.  Thanks, Tree Camp and the Fox Valley Metro Club!

The Kirkland course is in great shape except for hole 8 and 9- the river is up and they are flooded.

I was out playing Lippold today as well... I dunno, I think the course is just going to get worse until all of the snow has had enough time to melt and dry out.  It's not just a little bit of snow too.  There's still a couple inches of it along the left side of the path for holes 1, 2, and 3.  I skipped 5 and 6 because of the water on 5.  I didn't bother with 10-15 or 18 either because I really just wanted to get out of there.  Even the jogging path was mush.

Buffalo Grove wasnt terrible today.  The first 6 holes are okay, you just spend a lot of time cleaning mud off your discs. All of hole 7 and the tee of 8 is pretty rough.  The entire space between 7's basket and 8's tee is water several inches deep.  The area around 9's basket is all sloppy mud.

Is this course on Aptakisic in a centennial park or something?  I just got a GPS and when I programmed in all the courses in the area, I soon realized I live closer to more courses than I thought.  I apparently have been driving by this course every day on the way to and from work and haven't played it yet.  I think it is in Buffalo Grove and was wondering if this is the course you are talking about.

He was probably talking about Willow Stream. You are talking about the new BG course which I think is in Twin Creeks Park.

Played Fink and Danny Cunniff  over in Highland Park on Sat.  Fink was pretty wet but only #9 was unplayable.  Just expect to have wet feet by the end of play.  As for Cunniff, the holes were eaiser to naviagate around the water.  All holes were playable.

We will be playing leagues Mondays and Thursdays at the Highland Park courses, starting at 5:00 tonight.

This week is at Fink, and next week is at Cunniff Park, and then back to Fink, and so on.  It is on a rotating schedule by week.

There is no fee to play.  We mainly play for tags.

However, there is an optional $5.00 fee for those that wish to do a little side betting.
