Apparently this long awaited course is now open.  Does anyone have any info?

This is a very nice and fun 12 holer in a well kept community park.  Lots of mature oak trees and gentle swales make for some interesting opportunities that the course designers took good advantage of.  Good shot variety and options.  Longest hole is 385'.  There is also a 350 footer, but the rest are at or under 300.  Concrete tees are a little short.  Innova Discatchers.  Very easy to navigate.  Well worth a stop if you're in the area, for example if your wife takes you shopping at Good's.  :icon_confused:

I agree with Kurt on his description. This is a fun course with a variety of holes. Some slight elevation. The park is very nice and we had a good time playing it.

I do have one thing that fits right in with IL disc golf. Hole #1 starts by the parking lot and Hole #11 finishes by the parking lot. Hole #12 is the longest hole on the course and the tee is right by the parking lot. It plays in the opposite direction of the parking lot. You walk out 385 ft and walk back to the parking lot or to tee #1. Classic!

Kewanee disc golf

Kewanee is my home course. I love the different shots. the guy who wrote the other review i met him while he was playing.i dont know if he remembers me or not. The course has a lot of variety shots. it has some short holes and some long holes that play longer than what they are. Nice spot to stop by and play a round at.
