2008 Bag Tag Design Contest

There is going to be a design contest for 2008 bag tags again. The winner of this design gets a free 2008 membership & bag tag.

Here is what the bag tag needs to include.
1. DISContinuum Disc Golf Club or DISContinuum DGC
2. www.discontinuum.org
3. 2008 Bag Tag Challenge
4. Obviously a place for a #

You can use multiple colors since we are going to try plastic tags this year. Both sides of the tag can have print on them. Please try to limit color options to a max of 4.
Here are the specs for each shape.
The round tag is 3.5" across
The shield is 3 x 3.75
The rectangle is 3.5 x 4.5
The rectangle is 2.5 X 4.0
The teardrop is 3.5
The diamond is 3.5
The square is 3.5 X 3.5
The octagon is 3.5
The small round is 2.5
The resort tag is 4.0
In all designs, please leave 1/4" margin on all sides.


Here is how the process is going to work.


You can only submit 1 design.
Submit the design to Mirth->  webmaster@discontinuum.org
They must be submitted by 11:59PM CST on 10/31/06.

Please do not post designs on the message board. Mirth is going to be the only member that knows who the designer is. If you want to submit it from some e-mail address that he does not recognize, that is fne. We want to keep this anonymous until a design has won the contest.

If there are more than 4 submissions, the club board is going to vote & narrow the submissions down to 4

Those 4 (if 4) will be posted on the club members section of the message board and voted for by the membership. A winner will be declared & bag tags will be ordered. We plan on having the tags by January 1, 2007.

No. At one time I thought that was important. Now I think it is more fun for our members to have contests for bag tag designs, custom stamps, etc. whenever the need arises. If we had an official logo I think it would detract from the creativity of such contests.
