Innova Pumpkin Discs

Innova's 2007 Pumpkin discs are coming out on October 8th.  They claim that they will have Rocs, Aviars, and some drivers (not listed).  It's all DX plastic with the 2007 Halloween stamp on it:



Would anyone be interested in these?  The cost would be $8 cash per disc.  I bought a couple last year, but since I only had one tournament in October I didn't get a lot of traction.

If there is any interest, I would essentially use the money from the ace race to put together an order from Innova.  Unfortuantely I would not have them in time for the Ace Race, but I could get them to you before halloween.  If I do order I would probably have some at the final Disc Golf Alley tournament for the year (date not determined yet).

I'll post what drivers the stamp is available on as soon as I know.

I was talking to Russell at Innova East today.  He's the pumpkin stamp artist and hotstamp machine operator.  He was setting up the machine while we were talking.  He didn't know what drivers they were going to run.  He was happy to run any drivers I might want!  I got 20 Rocs and 20 Aviars for IOS 6 and Byron Big D Doubles.  I'll probably only bring half of them to Fairfield.

I'd be intrested in a pumpkin Roc, something in the 179-180 range... I'll be at the ace race and the IOS 6...

Wow, this is a lot greater response than expected!  Maybe I'll see if I possibly squeeze in an order on the 8th to receive it before the ace race... I have no idea if I can get that quick of a turnaround time though!  I'll have to call it in to find out.

From what I received last year, everything was max weight.  I think that would make a lot of people happy - especially with Roc's and Aviars!

At worst I'll have my leftover 2006 pumpkin discs at the ace race, but I think I only have 2 or 3 rocs and 2 aviars.

Do they have the same stamp as the '07 ones? I'm not sure I like it that much. I gave an '04 pumpkin Roc to a friend of mine and I liked that one better.

I'm guessing the image that Scott posted in the first post is the stamp for them this year. You can see 07 on the pumpkin nose.

that is correct.  The picture in the first post is the 2007 design.  I posted the 2006 design because roman asked if the other discs that I still had (the '06 ones) had the same design as the 07 ones because he wasn't sure he liked 2007's design.

everything is 175 for the Aviars, and everything is 180 for the Roc's... for whatever I still have available.

Roman - I have 2 of the 175g 2006 Pumpkin Aviars.  I'll have one held for you at the ace race.

I haven't found the leftover Roc's yet.  I should have 2 or 3 (I say "or 3" because I think I damaged one) but I have to find what box I put them in.

I will not have the 2007's at the Ace race... but I will be ordering these probably Monday.  Feel free to buy from Bruce at the IOS as well.

I'll be set up from 2pm until about 5:30pm at the Hannah Beardsley Middle School in Crystal Lake on Friday, October 19th.  Feel free to stop by and browse the discs if you're in the area.  I'm running another tournament for the middle schoolers there on that day.
