2007 Thank You!

I just want to thank everyone who helped run and played the IOS this year. I can't believe it's over.  Now it's onto 2008. It takes a small army to set up, tear down, run ctps, check score cards, enter scores, & everything else. Thank you to anyone who helped out this year. We try our best to run quality events and we appreciate your support.

I'm always evaluating what players like and dislike about tournaments and why they attend. Please give us some constructive criticism. What are some things you liked or disliked about the series? Why did you play the series? What would you like to see changed in 2008?
Like the player pack?
Like the ctp's?
Come for the ace pool?
Like Trophy Only option?
Trying to win an overall series trophy?
Try to qualify for Am Nationals?
Try to qualify for USDGC Spot?


With approval there is going to be some new exciting info released for next year. Divisional structure will change what day some of you play next year. There may be some new options for pros next year. All that info will be released early in 2008.

Another thing we tried this year was flight life. Any comments on flight life vs. CTP's?

Hey, Brett, I did not see this before I posted.  If you want me to delete my post, no problem.  I thought we were ready to reveal that much based on what we said Sunday.

4. i play as many events as possible, (25 so far this year) 4 or 5 more

Speaking of thanks I would like to thank Brett for all his hard work this year.The additions and upgrades in Waukegan,Round Lake,working with park dist.,a great job as Illinois state cord,DISContinuum pres. and much more.Before Brett took action all that got done was talk.I now look forward to the future of disc golf in the area.

I meant to mention this yesterday at the awards. I really appreciated Bruce's creation of the AMIV divison this past year. It was nice to be competing for something, not just trying to avoid last card.  It's hard to go play other tournaments when the IOS is done so well.
