Speaking of DVD's, I'm looking forward to the Am Worlds DVD we were supposed to get a while ago!

Mine came in today's mail.  Haven't watched it yet.

I watched most of the PDGA thing yesterday. Couple of action shots of McManus - couple of him in the crowd at the clinic too. (How much did all that cost, Tom?  8) ). Saw a few of the Brakel ladies and Serg getting the basket.  All in all quite OK and considering the price how can you complain?

I've got a glitch on my Renny DVD during hole #10 (I think - it's the 'big rock in the fairway' hole). Drops out for a few moments. Anyone else have this problem?  Otherwise it's really cool.
thanks,
Damon

Could I possibly play any worse if I didn't practice putting??

Mukey

Watched mine yesterday, pretty nice & the other courses they spotlight look cool too.

If anyone in the Downers Grove area wants to borrow it PM me

Just watched this DVD.  I thought it started off very well and then kind of tailed off in excitement.

I liked that they gave plenty of time to show the players setting up each shot and they had good camera angles showing the flight path of the disc.  The Marshall Street style of shot after shot after shot in rapid fire can get old.

Also, with this competition there was no confusion over where everybody stood with respect to the score.  With the Marshall Street or Skylands Classic they just keep jumping around from group to group and flashing scores at you and its hard to keep track.

I think the commentary should focus more on the actual competition for these disc golf DVDs instead of rambling endlessly about the players and the courses.  The pressure of the competition is what makes sports fun to watch!  Think if you were watching a Cubs game and the score was just an afterthought to the announcers as they talked on and on about what a fantastic player Derek Lee is and what he does in his offtime and how beautiful Wrigley Field is.  It would suck more than listening to a White Sox game.

With only 3 holes at Renny Gold producing differences in scores for these teams, they clearly need to find a more challenging course for the next DVD.  I actually think alot of par 54 courses would produce more difference making holes, but its more fun to watch them throw more shots.
