The Veterans Tournament (Oswego/May 24th)

Fox Valley Metro Disc Golf Club is hosting a tournament to benefit the U.S. Veterans on Memorial Day weekend at Eagle Ridge Disc Golf Course in Oswego.

It is an unsanctioned charity tournament, that has a ton of great prizes. There are currently 50 sponsors.

Here are the details:

Date: May 24th
Location: Eagle Ridge (Oswego, IL)
Divisions: Pro, Ams, Women, Beginners, and 15 & under
Sign up: 9:00 am
Tee off: approximately 10:15 am
Entry Fee: $25 plus one non-perishable food item

CTP's On Every Hole. Free Lunch. LOTS Of Great Prizes.
Trophies for 1st and 2nd in every division.
Putting contest, Throw for the pies. Awards ceremony.

I hope lots of people are planning on coming out and helping a good cause at this tournament on Saturday.  It's supporting the Veteran's, there's a slew of CTP prizes for all of the divisions, and it makes for a nice, relaxing day with 1 round on a sweet course.  I was at Fox Valley's club meeting last week as they were discussing some more of the final preparations for the tournament, and it should definitely be a good time
