anybody know what conditions are like at Mokena these days? The path of last week's snowstorms left a pretty varied amount of snowfall around here. N side wasn't nearly as bad as Highland Park yesterday, and it sounds like Gurnee got dumped on, but further south sounds relatively unscathed...

I've never played Mokena this early before, and I'm guessing it's somewhat muddy - just wondering if with this winter that basically translates to unplayable.
thanks,

Could I possibly play any worse if I didn't practice putting??

I played there on Saturday, as well as West Park. Unless they got snow Saturday night or Sunday then they are both free of snow. Both are pretty muddy though, so be sure to wear boots. Teepads at Mokena are all pretty much fine though, but the areas around the teepads and the basket are wet and muddy. West Park the teepads were atrocious but other than the paths between holes most of the rest of the course was fine. From what I heard, Channahon is the best bet right now.

Sounds about right, I play these 3 courses on a normal basis, but I have stayed away from West for awhile, it needs a few weeks of sunshine to dry up. Channahon is definitely the best currently, especially after Frank put down some more woodchips around baskets and some of the walkways.
