It probably cost me the entry fee plus 300 bucks for a round trip plane ticket when I went.  I had a free place to stay.

Just curious Dan, how much was the entry fee?

It will also cost you to reimburse discs as the memorial is probably the #1 disc eating tournament.

I believe I paid 60 dollars for advanced.

I lost 12 discs that week!  I only brought about 25 total including the ones in my bag, so the drivers were pretty sparse that last round.

Somehow that just doesn't sound like fun to me.

Man I probably would have thrown my bag and stool in as well after loosing 50% of my discs. Damn!

Keep in mind that airfare is 25-50% more expensive than at the same time a year ago due to mergers/fuel costs/etc.

[kidding]sounds like a disc vendor's dream course...[/kidding]

[drift]That's what is making me consider not playing the RCR and going to Homie instead - everybody is playing west park (although I think I'd be from the short tees), and there's just soooo much water at West Park[/drift]

Everything is more expensive now than it was last year, so start saving now :)
