I'm in kzoo today for work and I want to get out and play a round somewhere when I'm done. I'm gonna be a couple miles from oshtemo- should I play there or is there another course that's "can't miss"? There were some good descriptions in the worlds thread but I couldn't get a feel for what the favorite courses were.

Oshtemo is a good course. The long tees are very challenging. Lots of long tunnels.

Too bad Timber Ridge got pulled.

If you feel like a road trip go check out Victory. It is a nice park and the course is fun to play. Put a few water discs in your bag.

I played Robert Morris and it was a decent course too.

I'm not a big fan of Coldbrook.

thanks for the suggestions Brett. I played the long tees at Oshtemo- WOW that was a fun and tough course. I shot really well for the first 5 or 6 holes and even took a couple of deuces... And then my round blew up after spending about an hour searching for discs in the pine trees and schule on 3 straight holes. After that I just forgot about the score and had fun. Its easy to push it a little too much on that course and get yourself into trouble. I had to resist the urge to throw the high-speed stuff and stick to the eagles and leopards, and just keep it on the fairway.

If you get the chance play Begg in Battle Creek, it's one of my favorites. It got a cool island shot with muskrats swimming in the creek that runs down the center of the course. The woods shots are super clean with woodchip lined fairways.

I agree Oshtemo is da bomb

Kimball Pines (pinball pines) a lot of rough and a lot of trees.

Robert Morris is OK. Hole one is tough uphiller with a small window at the top and hole 2 fairway is about 10ft wide and 249ft with a curve. The rest of the course will make you shoot a variety of shots. Hole 10 & 17 are long tough pars and hole 18 is a sweet downhill tunnel.
