Played in the weekly random doubles last night. Twila is a decent sized multi use park that is lit well enough by other park activities for nighttime disc golf without needing lights on your discs.
Of course, there happened to be an odd number of people who showed up to play and yours truly ended up playing Cali.... Interesting local rule regarding the odd man out. League entry is $5. If you're the Cali you have the option of paying $5 extra and get two extra shots per hole. Had this not been my first time through the course and moreso not at night I may have paid the extra $5.

The park itself has 8 baskets and 12 tees. The league plays one time thru all 12 tees.

Its a pretty busy park. Last night there were groups playing soccer under streetlamps, several baseball games happening under the lit ballfields (which happened to end just as we were getting started, cutting off light to several holes), and a large family/group playing a pickup game of softball in one of the fairways near a tee.
All of the other people in the fairways were conscious of our presence and the softball group moved before we even had a chance to ask them to let us throw.

I threw a lot of rocs as almost all of the holes had either a straight line or finesse route to the basket. I think the longest hole was 350 and on that one I threw my new XCaliber because I knew I could depend on it to hyzer at the end and also because its bright orange!

Had putter spotting issues all night, my blow flies are a greenish color and most of the baskets were around trees which blocked much of the ambient light. One hole I spent 5 minutes searching around for a putter that ended up being directly below the basket. This same hole had a couple sleeping on a blanket 10 feet from the basket but totally hidden from the tee. Wonder if any of the other groups nailed them on the drive......

All in all its a decent little park, if I had time during the day I'd come back to see it in the light. Bring or play with a local, however, as the signage is either incorrect or just plain missing on many holes.
Don't forget your towel!
