Today was the Western Lakes Open in Pewaukee, Wisconsin.  It was a great event.  18 temp holes on a golf course.  16 tee pads.  Very well run and a great layout with water coming into play on about 10 of the holes.  Very fun and lots of discs in the water.  Tom Jenkins and Terry Miller did a great job with the layout.

Kenny Glassman beat Matt Travis in a playoff to win Advanced. Al Bingman won Open Masters.  A good day for most of the Illinois players.

Sounds like a cool tourney.

I hope everyone had a great day today.  THANKS TO EVERYONE THAT CAME OUT and more importantly - PRE REGISTERED before Thur or Fri - it really helped.

Here is what I just posted to my Lifetime Disc Sports thread on the PDGA message board:

Ka-Blam -  SCORES ARE POSTED.  Enjoy.

This isn't the final list or post but I have to send out a huge thanks to everyone that helped make this a success.  Some of the biggest helpers that immediately come to mind include:

Greg Essig and Western Lakes Golf Course
Dane Miller
Tom Jenkins
Mike Schwieger
Jeremy Vils
Johnny Rumble
Mark the Shark
Mike Ellery
Basket lenders

Sponsors including Disc King, Innova, Lifetime Disc Sports, Flying Disc Magazine, and then registration provided by  iRegisteredOnline.com

Mike - I will have to look into your scorecard question - not sure off the top of my head.  We had a handful of scoring and addition errors made by players today - maybe you were one of them?

I took 1st in rec, I'd say Illinois made a decent showing.  I'd also like to thank you Terry for putting on such an awesome tournament.  The course was amazing.
