Just a reminder about joining the PDGA.

This is for new members to the PDGA.
Joining after September 1st, memberships are extended through the following year. So you get 4 months in 2009 and all of 2010 as a PDGA member. This also goes for those renewing that have not been current in the past 5+ years.

Why after September??

I signed up in July only to find my membership isn't yearly and ends at the end of the year!   Any other professional league out there  (US Chess Federation) ends after a YEAR, not at the end of the year.


This is exactly why I stopped renewing my membership years ago

The PDGA BOD has talked about doing memberships an an anniversary basis rather than a calendar basis, but I think there are logistical issues with the conversion.

Members earn points and player ratings based on their place of finish and scores at PDGA Tour events. PDGA points are used to award World Championship invitations.

All members who were current in 2009 will continue to see their stats online until February 15th. After this date, all stats for those not current for 2010 will be removed. They will reappear after renewing.
