A point of clarification...

Exactly 100 custom stamped Innova discs (Star plastic - various models & weights) will be available at Glide approximately two weeks before the tournament.

$19.95 each

The purchase of each disc includes a raffle ticket for a DGA Mach V Portable Basket in Orange Blaze (click on the following link & scroll down to check it out)

http://www.discgolfassoc.com/discgolf-equipment/baskets/permanent-baskets.html

Factor in shipping/tax and this is almost a $500 basket.

The 100 raffle tickets that come with the purchase of the fundraiser discs are the only raffle tickets for this basket.  Each fundraiser disc you purchase gives you a 1 in 100 chance of winning the basket.

Thanks,

Mike

We are having our club event next Saturday, but if we weren't I would be heading up to the Ale Asylum Open.  Mike is a great TD and always puts on a good event.  The Wham Bam, that Mike TD'd that was held in Sussex was one of my favorite events.  I am sure the Ale Asylum Open will be a fun time.

Mike_Batka

Hey Tom-

Thanks for the kind words.  Much appreciated.

Most of the 40+ players who have already registered are locals.  The weather forecast is looking pretty good so I am expecting a solid increase in registration over the next few days.  It sounds like some DGers from the Fox Valley and Stevens Point area may be coming.  I haven't heard much from Northern Illinois yet.  I hope to see many of you up here.

Thanks,

Mike

Dave Nelson told me he was going to Madison. He's trying to win the Advanced PDGA points.

Wish I could make it up.  Last time I was in Madison I did get to eat at the Ale Asylum (Mike suggested it) and they have some good food.

Vibram Disc Golf, Ledgestone Insurance, Paragon and Whirld Sports are all cool. Real cool.

Mike_Batka

The weather forecast for tomorrow looks good.

There are still spots available. Anyone who still wants to register can...

...stop by Glide from 11-7 today or 8-9 on Saturday (if spots are still available).

...call Glide (608.285.5190) and register over the phone with a credit card.

...sign up online at www.iregisteredonline.com.

There is no late registration fee.

Also, there are about a dozen fundraiser discs left. Pick one up (playing in the tournament or not) and get yourself a chance at winning a DGA Mach V Portable Basket in Orange Blaze.

Thanks,

Mike
