Memberships can be purchased thru the online store, with any club officer, or at Chains Disc Golf Store in Crystal Lake, IL.

There are many benefits to joining the club. Please use them. Below are some benefits of the club.
1. Bag Tag Challenge. Tag included with membership. Prizes often given away to members at various club events.
2. DISContinuum Club Meetings and Newsletters with tourney info.

Your support helps keep this club going. If you are only able to financially support the club with a membership it helps. Displaying a DISContinuum Bag Tag on your bag helps too. We are always looking for volunteers to help run leagues, tournaments, & other things. Please help promote DISContinuum and disc golf.

Your support has helped with many projects. The club owns 5 portable baskets which are used at IOS events and demos.  This year the Club plans on purchasing the naming rights to an A Tier and a B-Tier in Illinois.
We hope you consider joining in 2010.
Last year Dana V was a member of the club and we brought down tee pads and baskets that were used at the Peoria Open. Fox Valley also recently used the tee pads at one of their local events.  DISContinuum is not strictly Northern Illinois, we have members as far south as Springfield, members from Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, and Wisconsin.  Our goal is to bring disc golf to as many people as possible.  The more that play, the more accepting the sport becomes, the more likely park districts and forest preserves will see golf as a viable activity and be more receptive to new courses.

New for 2010.  Tags will not be handed out until January. They will be handed out at a league event. If you don't come to league, they will be handed out at a club meeting that same day.  If you don't come to the club meeting there will be a drawing for the order of the tags.

This is the same process that we have used the last several years.

If you choose to sign up with the PDGA on line you can click on affliate club program and receive a $5.00 discount.  We also have the 2010 bag tags ordered and will have them available in January.  The tenative date for passing out tags is January 10.
One of the advantages of joining Discontinuum is a free PDGA sanctioned event.  We are looking to hold this event in the Spring as opposed to late summer/early fall.

2010 Bag Tags will be handed out on Sunday January 10th.  If you play at league you will be one of the first ones to draw for a tag.  If you come to the club meeting that is going to take place afterward at Mitch's you will be in the second group to draw for a tag.  If you have/or plan to pay your dues before the meeting but are unable to attend, you will be assigned a number, and numbers will be drawn. Those tags will be shipped.
