:)Is there a chance the ios series would come back to rockford? We will have A,B,C placements on the west course this summer. We also have signs up on the west side now. I know there was some friction recently between some locals and discintinuum lately, but i think that has been resolved? I think both clubs are served better by cooperating in the future. I thought discintinuum ran a awesome tournament here in 2008. There are'nt many places you can have 3 courses in 1 park. I know the  east course is short but it is 23 years old and can be tweeked to play much harder than the original.I want to thank all the people for thier hard work 2 years  ago.  If not this year how about in the future,2011 or a illnois- wisconsin match. Many cheeseheads are familiar with anna page, and they could challenge the fibs to a spirited tounament on one thier courses also, just a thought.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                             throw long and straight, poorboy

I first want to start off by stating that I have no issues with Rockford or the local player base. I took out my frustrations a few monthes ago in another discussion thread. It was me solely and DISContinuum had nothing to do with that. Those were issues with more role as state coordinator

I personally would never rule out going back to Rockford. I have heard a lot of people talk about how awesome of a time they had at that tournament. The park district was absolutely awesome allowing the use of the garage and gator. The issue is raising money for an A-Tier. Coming up with that kind of money is not easy. It has taken us 2 years to get ready for this next A-Tier. Please consider coming to it in May. You will not be disappointed.

I'd love to go to Rockford if they'd have us.  Those courses are certainly worth multiple tourneys there!  I know I met a couple of the Rockford guys when I ran the Sinnissippi doubles last October, good guys.
