anyone been out to round lake recently? im curious what kinda shape its in currently.

Also, i been out to Randall Oaks and Lippold.

Randall Oaks -
Hole 1 has some water to the rightside and a lil snow left. competely playable. Hole 3s tee is muddy but otherwise in great shape. hole 6 has some snow still but otherwise playable.

Lippold -
Hole 5s basket has a small pennisula up to the basket but is otherwise surrounded by water. Hole 7 still has snow but playable. Hole 8s tee is a mushy muddy mess. Hole 9 and 10 still have snow and playable. the woods holes are in good shape. hole 12s tee could use a good cleaning off. hole 14s tee is super slippery and water/ice in the fairway. hole 17s basket is really muddy.

Went to round lake and grayslake today...

Round lake is in rough shape right now.  All tee pads are mud and ice... 14 and 14a are both under water and unplayable, and the swamp is almost to the basket on hole 10. The new path really does help crossing 12 and 18.

Grayslake is in EXECELENT shape. All tees cleared and the limestone underneath the basket make it real easy to keep your disc clean. I barely used my towel for the 3 rounds we played and my shoes were as clean as when I put them on.

Could I possibly play any worse if I didn't practice putting??

I was up at Parkside today. There is still some snow in spots. It is muddy in spots. Overall it is in very good condition.

Bevier is in surprisingly good shape, except for old #7 (is that 14 now, I can never keep track), which still has ice & snow completely covering the teepad. Most of that fairway still has snow and ice (I guess that area of the park doesn't get much direct sunlight), but the rest of the park is fine - even the holes across the street aren't overly muddy, although a couple of the flypads are muddy and a little wet. You can't cross the creek between 17 and 18  though. I expected #4 to have a pond around the old basket area but it's essentially dry throughout.
thanks,

03/14--Gurnee is in great shape. Unless you throw to the left on #1 or to the right on #7 you should stay high and dry. Very short on #3 has some mud to but should not come into play for int/adv/pro players. My shoes were mud free and dry.

03/15--Waukegan is in good shape. Soggy in a few places. #8's tee is very soft and has mud around it. #14's tee still had ice on it. Should be gone by the end of the day. Snow on the fairway as well. Creek on 16, 17, & 18 has plenty of water. My feet were a tad wet from water and snow on a couple of fairways.

03/16--Grayslake is in great shape. The only place that has mud is between #2's basket and #3's tee. My shoes were pretty much mud free and dry.

03/17--Fairfield TBD

How is Adler looking?

Adler was in good shape on Tuesday night.  some mud around the baskets and tee pads on several holes, but not as bad as last week.  most fairways were nice and dry as well.

03-17--Fairfield  This is as good as i've ever seen Fairfield this early in the spring. My shoes were wet and muddy though.

1 thru 6 are good.
#7's fairways has mud/water on it. Around the basket there is mud/ice/water.
8 thru 11 are good. Don't go in the swamp!
To stay totally dry on 12/18 you have to throw over the swamp and cross on the path early. Getting around the swamp is wet/muddy unless you stay on the path.
#11 looks like a few more trees came down. I don't think the hyzer route was quite that big last fall.
#13 has mud to the right.
#14 had some water in the fairway.
#14A is unplayable.
Crossing to 15 is flooded. You have to cross thru the woods. It's muddy in there.
#15 thru 17 are good.
