Club Officers Meeting 04-05-03

Just wondering if all the club officers want to meet on this Saturday. I'm double checking with RLAPD for the maintenance day. We could meet afterwards for a bite to eat. How does this sound?

After my unexpected participation in the tourney last weekend I doubt I could get away from home for anything longer than a meeting.



Saturday late morning/early afternoon is most likely alright for me. Anything later is no good as Beth has to work & I will have the baby.

I'd be more inclined towards breakfast before leagues than getting up insanely early some morning.



Otherwise, we could use my basement to hold a meeting. I have a pool table and ample room for people to sit around...

Just from past experience, I think planning on 4-6 hrs will be more realistic. Depends on how many people show up.

Brett, do you have Dave Brown's/Alex's/Phil Clark's phone numbers?  If not, I can get them to you.

Also, since we'll be covered in dirt, where should we go fer lunch?

What about tools?  We'll probably need some 10-foot 2x4s, rakes, and shovels.  At least one level as well.  I can bring 2 rakes and a square shovel.

I'm a breakfast man myself. How about meeting at Avalon at Grand & Milwaukee at 6:30am?

If that's too early, maybe 9:00am Sunday before leagues?

I figured that we could work on the tees @ Fairfield that morning for 2-3 hours then go to lunch in Round Lake.

     Dave has contacted Phil & they are already contacting people to help with the project. I'm guessing we'll have 10+ attend. I think in 3-4 hours that we could complete 5 holes. I was thinking from 8-12, then go to lunch @ Subway or somewhere like that.

I'd rather not meet @ 6:30AM, + i'd be backtracking since I live 1 mile from the course. How about meeting in the parking lot after the clean up day? I'll throw a cooler full of beverages in the car.

As far as I know, I'm not scheduled to work that day, so I'll totally be there.  Just let me know where and when.  Maybe we could get together, play a round, and then have the meeting??

I'm confused. I was checking my schedule for this Saturday and then realized that this Saturday is March 29th and the Saturday after this Saturday is April 5th. Are we planning this for this Saturday or for the 5th?
