That Packers pass defense is a weakness Tom.  If the offense ever has an off day, it could be trouble.  As for the Bears, they totally suck!  But we already suspected that.

I enjoyed watching those Bills highlights.  Brady 4 picks!  And the Lions coming back from 20-0?  Lions and Bills 3-0.  What is going on here?

Agree about the Packers pass defense. I would be a lot more excited about the Lions if they were in another division.  I would like to see Cleveland do well too. It is nice to see the Bills do well. Urlacher made a heck of a play on that interception.

The Lions comeback was pretty impressive on Sunday.  Their defense stayed strong in the second half even with a couple of key players having to leave the game.  I heard the second half on the radio driving through the northwoods.  It was that or NPR.

I'm not much of a Lions fan, but it is fun to have winning team buzz in the air.  Apparently the Lions' hot start is surprising everyone but diehard Lions fans.  Before the season started there was a lot of talk among Lions fans that the Lions really had a team this year.  The pre-season optimism just seemed a lot stronger than your traditional Charlie Brown optimism that all fans have before the start of the season.

Most of the Lions key players are very injury prone.  If they keep those guys healthy, the sky is the limit in my opinion.  Cutler should fake an injury to get out of this mess.  His numbers are going to be so bad after playing for the Bears that he'll have a hard time getting another starting job in the NFL.  As a Bears fan, I know alot about bad offenses, and this year's offense is BAD!  I would love it if we could cut every player on the offense and start over from scratch.

My favorite sequence from Sunday....Urlacher interception in the 4th qtr...1st and 10 Bears...1st and 15 Bears...1st and 25 Bears....2nd and 23 Bears...3rd and 33 Bears...4th and 26....Punt

I put the chances at 50% that the Steelers make the playoffs this year.  The rapist is going to get killed out there. Their offensive line is under siege.

Yea that game was brutal last night. Ideally Pittsburgh and Indy both get removed from prime time slots for the rest of the season.

he has been hit like that for years. It's his style to hold on to the ball and make plays. He is big enough to play thru pain(not Cutler)
And that is a pipe dream if I ever heard one Tom. Look at the schedule. Houston, Tenn, Jax, Arizona, Pats, Balt, Cinn, K.C., Cinn, Clev, S.F., Rams, Clev. Besides Balt and Pats in October, looks pretty easy. The Browns and Bengals twice after the Patriots game.  11-5 will get in the AFC playoffs

Not Cutler my ass! Cutlers one of the toughest in NFL and he does many things in the offseason for the less fortunate instead of raping girls. Many quarterbacks would already be gone this season because of the Bears High School line and zero recievers. And anyone who thinks Cutler went out of last seasons game because he quits knows nothing about the science of the knee. He already threw one interception before coming out because he couldn't plant. Many coaches in the league would love to have Cutler. It's just unfortunate that the Bears know nothing about drafting lineman and wide recievers!

He beat his third rape charge but NFL suspended him for 6 games. Still its a slap on the wrist compared to jail time but he will lose over 2 million dollars in salary.  Punishment does not match the crime and there may be more sanctions against Ben.  Also Ben must get professional help -that means a shrink. I'm no fan of this guy but I do believe in to each his own. Good luck with this creep Doug.

I feel cheated out of a great ending to a football game Sunday. That punt return was pretty awesome and the phantom flag was a joke. The Monday night ESPN crew were riding the officials pretty hard on that one. With a minute left to play it would have been a 3 pt game. I would have like to seen the onside kick. Anything can happen.

I was thinking the same thing. For as bad as they played the Bears still had a shot at winning that one.

So if you take a rapist because of 3 Superbowl appearances, how many Superbowl appearances does a murderer need for you to become a sycophant?

You guys are nuts!  I totally agree the Bears clearly got jacked on that play.  But you really think there was some great ending coming after that?

If the TD counted, the Bears were still trailing by 3 with 50 seconds left, and I believe they still had 1 timeout.  The odds of recovering an onside kick when the other team is expecting it is around 15% (about the same as the odds of Adam Dunn or Tyler Colvin getting a hit).  If they recovered it, they'd be around the Bears 45 yd line.  So, they'd need to go 20 yards to get in range for a 52 yd FG.  The Bears 2nd half drives....-9 yds...-2 yds...-8 yds....+16 yds....+15yds....+32 yds....-16 yds....+20yds....+15yds.  Thats an average of +7 yards per drive.

So, they'd have to beat the 15% odds, then beat the odds of them going 20 yards in under 50 seconds, then make the FG.  Maybe they had around a 3% chance?  We didn't miss out on anything.

All this arguing over bad teams, so silly guys. Let's talk about what is important - Colts getting another primetime appearance next Monday night!

they the ones trying to argue. I do find it very entertaining though. Grown men crying like little schoolgirls about a not guilty verdict.

Great start from your Lions Taylor. They were my sleeper team at the start of the season. They doing a little better than someones sleeper pick in Kansas City.  ;D

I love the jealousy  :D

What would Tom be jealous of?  His team has Aaron Rodgers, who is clearly light years ahead of Big Ben as a QB, and they beat the Steelers in the Super Bowl last year.  Throw in the fact that his team is off to a 3-0 start, while the Steelers are 2-1 with a close call against the horrid Colts.  Then consider that Roethlisberger has turned it over 8 times in 3 games.  I don't think Packer fans are jealous of any other teams right now, certainly not the Steelers.

I do think the Steelers will squeak into the playoffs with their soft schedule.  They have alot of talent at WR, but the offensive line has clearly taken a big step back this year.  Mendenhall has just 149 yards in 3 games and is getting only 3.0 ypc.  He had 18 for 37 yards against Indy.  Rothelisberger threw just 5 picks last year and lost 3 fumbles.  He's nearly surpassed those totals through 3 games, 2 of which were against soft competition.  You'd be crazy not to be a little worried in Pittsburgh right now.  The defense needs to be elite for them to win games.

Lions, yeah nobody had that for a sleeper  ::)
