We were looking for a course near Hillsdale which we had not ever played.  Those are not necessarily the two best qualifications for a good round of disc golf.

The PDGA website describes this course as flat, only because the author did not think to use the word "planar."  The course plays around the perimeter of several soccer and ball fields, through scattered trees.  The course designers did a good job of designing a course which would challenge a pro, considering what they had to work with.  I think everyone who played longs agreed that perhaps the course designer relied too heavily on low ceiling shots to take away the advantage from the power thrower.  One thing I liked about the course: the chances of losing a disc were close to zero.  There was very little disc eating schule or long grass.

This course reminds me how hard it is to design a great course if you are not blessed with great terrain.  The designer did a good job with what he had, but he just didn't have enough.
