Whats up, I don't know if I'm in the right forum thread but I am seeking some suggestions in order to help me to deal with a difficulty with a wireless surround system. In order to avoid speaker cable disorder, I had purchased a 5.8 GHz cordless loudspeaker system for my surround speakers. The transmitter hooks up to the surround receiver rear loudspeaker outputs. Typically the transmitter goes into standby after a few minutes of not having received music. However, my AV receiver continues emitting a hum while in standby. This stops the wireless transmitter from entering standby. I find that it triggers the wireless receivers to remain awake at the same time. That causes my surround loudspeakers to always send out a hum while my AV receiver is in standby which happens to be kind of aggravating. I have been considering installing some type of switch to disconnect the audio link between my surround receiver and the cordless transmitter however that remedy will not seem sophisticated. I'd love just about any suggestions.

I think you are using understable plastic on a windy course.  If you have the arm I suggest you try a Champion Monster.  You may find that it tends to land towards the left speaker especially if you don't have the power to control it.  Very little distortion in flight.  I have Monster cables at home but frankly rarely throw them on the course.  There are other options but I don't think they are PDGA approved.

Another option may be to scout the course a little better before you simply start throwing things.  I like to get an idea of where the baskets are set, how they interact with the trees, the walking paths etc.  To put this in context, you might look at a couple of threads and say to yourself, "Gee, this looks like some kind of frisbee board, they may not have the answers I seek." But then again, maybe you said to yourself, "Those guys know a lot about flight properties maybe they can solve my tech problems."  On the other hand you might be thinking,"insert SPAM  here."  I'm not really sure whether you were trying to fly the basket or whether you were just laying up. ???
