Please take the time to fill out a survey. I posted on the Facebook page of the Forest Preserve District of Cook County about installing a coure.  They suggested the survey.

Any ideas as to where you would like a course?  The questions that they ask are pretty generic.

I have no clue. I Just filled in the general one at the bottom.

This is what I filled out:

I would like to see a disc golf course set up in one of the preserves that is in Northern Cook County.  There is plenty of land available and there is the player base out there to bring some much needed positive activity into the forest preserve.  Disc Golf is a sport for all ages and all athletic skill ranges.  It will bring out people who normally don't frequent the Forest Preserve properties.

Thanks for sharing the link Brett.

Thanks for doing that. I wish I would have kept my write up. I stressed that disc golf is the fastest growing recreational sport and there is high demand within the city limits of Chicaogo.

I don't think location is that important right now. It's poitics and you need the insiders talking about disc golf. Maybe this survey will help. It definitely can't hurt.

I plugged revenue and low costs to put in and upkeep. Also the live longer excercise you get.

Sent them a message last night. I suggested the following places if anyone needs ideas suggesting places.

Pine Knolls golf course (Hanover Township; closed 18 golf course bought by the Forest Preserve)

Busse Woods (Schaumburg/Rolling Meadows/Elk Grove) - I can throw Rocs into it from my patio

The forest preserve groves by Irving Park Road/Des Plaines River Road (Norridge/Schiller Park) - accessible my public transportation from the city of Chicago.  Mostly flat but plenty of room.  Used to rides my bikes through there growing up.  There's potential in the right places.
