Worlds Bid Info

Dear PDGA State and Provincial Coordinators,

Hope you are all doing well. Please find attached copies of the bid packages
for Pro & Am Worlds, as well as the US Women's & US Masters championships.
They aren't too different from our past bid documents for PDGA Majors but
they do touch on two important areas in which we would like host cities to
concentrate when bidding on a PDGA Major; obtaining the support of the local
sports commission of visitors bureau, and working with the host hotel to get
a room rebate and comped rooms included in their bids.

Please forward this email and the attached documents to any parties in your
state or province that may be interested in hosting a PDGA Major in 2013,
2014, or 2015. The deadline for the submission of bids for 2013 Major events
is May 31, 2012 and these bids will be awarded very soon afterward. The
deadline for the submission of bids for the 2014 and 2015 PDGA Majors is
August 31, 2012 and these bids will be reviewed by the Board at the fall
summit in September and awarded at that time.

Please let me know if you need any additional information or if I can be of
assistance to you or anyone preparing a bid. It is my intention to become
more involved with the negotiations with each of the potential host cities
on the front end before any bids are awarded. I look forward to working with
you all as we go through this process and I hope we can bring a Major event
to your area.
