I also would like to discuss at the meeting the possibility of DISContinuum sponsoring the 2004 PDGA Junior Championships. It is on May 15th in Kaukauna, Wisconsin, near Appleton.  The cost would be $30, and we'd get great publicity. Plus, its good for the kids.
Last year, I pushed through a $25 sponsorship of Standing Rocks Open, as well as doing some comp photos for Uncle Joe's Ice Bowl last year. Those two events got us some great publicity and generated many emails and helped bring several Wisconsin players to three of our events (Terry Miller, Dane Miller, Chris Heeren, etc.).

On that note, I'm signing up Danny today. Are there any other Juniors from DISContinuum attending?  I just think that promoting kids and disc golf is what it is all about.

June 12/13 is locked for the HPC Memorial DGWeekend.  There is SO MUCH local stuff going on that there are bound to be conflicts with something.

The Illinois Disc Golf site is getting the overall Illinois schedule together (at http://www.illinoisdiscgolf.com/04calendar.html).

Brett accepted this position he had originally declined. He openly discussed that he would not be at all events & would do as much as possible. He basically covered that if he's a lame ass lazy President, there's no one to blame but the voters.

2. Wild Ice Bowl Leagues Doubles Thang
A. Event is set for Saturday 02/15/04 @ 10:00AM
B. Event will be run as a usual Sunday Leage except a canned good must be donated. Please see flyer when done for items to donate.
C. Flyers will be produced by Jon, ready by next Sunday
D. Discs & Club Memberships/Bag Tags will be sold that day.
E. Course will be set up & ready to play by 9:00AM(Jim/Brett) Course will be left in ground for a few hours after leagues are done.
F. Tees will be marked by cones(Brett)
G. Donated CTP Discs are being accepted by Brett. So far Becky, Brett, Damon, Jay, Jim, Myk, & Pat have donated a disc. There will also be our usual Cash CTP hole leaving us only 1 more disc to have 9 CTP's.
H. We are trying to use 9 skillshots for this event. So far we have 6. Damon, Jay(2), Jim, Jon, & Myk. Is there anyone else that has one?
I. There will be a disc awarded to each of the 1st Place Finishers. Options are being discussed & will be advertised on flyer when complete.

3. Hole C Bridge
Construction date has been set for 02/07/04 @ 10:00AM. Please bring your tools out & help.

4. PDGA Renewals & Affiliate Club
We have 10 ready to go & Jim is mailing them out on Monday.

5. 2004 Membership/Bag Tags
Memberships are now being sold for 2004. $15.00 includes a bag tag. Bag Tags are a first come, first serve basis. Temporary tags went out today @ the meeting. Completed tags will be out ASAP. A copy of bag tag rules will be handed out with each bag tag. Guess who got #1 .

6. Krispy Kreme Fundraiser
The club will purchase 50 certificates @ $2.50 each equaling $125.00. These certificates will be sold at $6.00 each. Each Certificate is for one dozen donuts & if you get a 2nd dozen, take $1.00 off. By selling all 50 certificates the club will raise $175.00. We will evaluate the success/failure & discuss more in the future.

7. 2004 Illinois Open Series #3, Fairfield Finale
A. Date is set for 08-28/29/2004
B. The 2004 Illinois Open will be part of the 2004 Illinois Open Series. See 2004 Illinois Open Series under Tournament Thread
