I plan on being there and I plan on playing Rec.

Might as well my rating is bad enough LOL (Not that I expect it to go up anytime soon though)

It is quite dry now. It all depends on how much rain we get. The creek and swamp can hold quite a bit of water, but once they fill the course gets very wet.

I noticed earlier in the post people saying the Streamwood Course is hard to follow. If I remember correctly, if the Township building next to the course is open, they offer course maps for free in there. They are not to scale at all, but, do help you get around if you are new to the course.

It was there on Wednesday it was not there this morning. I was going to call the Streamwood Parks on Monday and find out if it was stolen and if they know it was missing.

I confirmed that basket 18 was stolen. Reward for anyone that has information that leads to the recovery of the basket and the arrest of those responsible for stealing it. PM me or e-mail me if you have information.

I was there yesterday and 14 was pulled out of the ground and just laying there.  My guess is those DAMN soccer players!  Grrr they make me so mad.

What did the Streamwood Parks say?  I was thinking about calling them about the soccer players (leaving trash everywhere, not letting me throw* on 14 (and yesterday on 16 too), and pulling the basket out of the ground (I assume)).  If you have contacted someone with the Streamwood park district and they were helpful please shoot me a pm or post it here.

*I said "heads up" raised my disc in the air and pointed to the basket but those who did look at me just ignored me and said something in Spanish and kept playing.  I might have just thrown it but there were 10-15 guys to our 2

Very weird.  I was there in the afternoon playing with some guys from Crystal Lake.  14 was there at about 2pm.  However, I recall it seemed like the base was pretty loose.  I wonder if the village guys pulled it before it just fell over.

Could I possibly play any worse if I didn't practice putting??

Chainmeister

Yes, and right before the long haul hole.

Bruce Brakel

Brett has two Chainstars.  You can count on there being baskets for all 18 holes for the tournament next weekend.

someone might want to post flyers this weekend saying that during the T there will not be soccer allowed  there for those two days

i know i suggested this last year but i do remember  a T there where the disc players had to skip those two holes due to soccer and then had to contend with all the foot traffic

just a suggestion

also   the tee pads need a little work

thats not a bad idea, although i don't think it'll be too much of a problem.

i definitely don't mind the fact that a different basket will be used instead of 18.  not the best basket in the first place!     with the condition of 14's basket i think it would be wise to put in another basket there and maybe even change the hole up a little to make it more fun since there is some extra room there.
