I apoligise in advance for this newbie question, but what rules are there around the Mulligans you buy?

Is there a limit to how many you can use on a hole, or number of repeat mulligans in a row?  Will they be counted up un the score card till it reaches the purchased limit or down from how many purchased?

Thanks,

I have a chainstar I can bring out if you need a basket for a temp. hole.

Regarding the throw for pole hole, you could have the throw be for a voucher and then have the unit shipped direct to the winner.  Ship it with delivery confirmation so you are protected.

Probably a silly question, but have you arranged for the restrooms to be opened?  Or maybe a Porta-let?  How 'bout trash cans?

It seems like you guys are doing an awesome job on this, so you probably have those bases covered as well.

Mark,

Mulligans will work as follows:
you will be given a voucher for each mulligan purchased. When you wish to use one, (may be used on any throw- drive, up, or putt) inform your group and then hand it to the person with the scorecard. The mulligan used must be the shot taken, even if your original throw is better. I will be going over this with each person who purchases a mulligan as well.

The water is turned off in the winter at the shelter so the restrooms will not be open, but a port-o-let will be on site as well as garbage cans and picnic tables and a nice cozy fire to warm you up in between rounds.

I am still hoping to get a basket out for the tourney, I spoke with one of the vendors that will be there and he is going to try to get a basket there for me. If not, the voucher sounds great. Thanks for the idea ^_^

About 2-1/2 to 3 inches on the ground.  I haven't been there in about a week, but I suspect the snow is pretty well beaten down by now.

Are the teepads nice and clear?

ditto on the question.  I was out at Oak Brook today and didn't see some ice spots on the tee for hole 5 (otherwise they are pretty much covered with about an inch of snow), and I slipped on my drive.  I didn't fall down, but it tweaked my knee just a touch.  Definitely don't want to see anyone get hurt on Saturday!

They will be, if they aren't already. I'll be out there later this afternoon, and tomorrow.

Also: I will be recording the tournament all day Saturday. If you are playing in a group ahead or behind the camera, and I'm unintentionally in your line of sight, just call out that you are shooting.

With fairways zigzagging back and forth, I might not realize my position in relation to your shot. Eventhough I try to keep it in mind all the time.

Abe, you know that even though is 2 words right? not one.

Anyways I got ahold of Eric Doty of www.ceroccollector.com and we are getting the basket after all. So good news!!!

The tee pads are all clear and there is a putting circle for the front nine as it stands right now. Hopefully I will be able to get out there tomorrow and finish the other 10 holes.

I'm psyched for this!  I am going to Dicks sporting goods tonight to get some thermal socks, hand warmers and maybe some boots  O0

I would recommend something waterproof. With the warm weather, the snow melted pretty good and your feet will get wet.
I am pretty psyched myself. My first tourney and so much anticipation with it.Was out today marking the putting circles and getting everything ready to go.

There will be a nice warm fire going when you show up to keep you toasty b4 the round so we should be all good.

Can't wait ;D

So is there a snow depth update tonite? It will still be pretty cold tomorrow I see...Is there usually an excessive amount of mulligans bought? Just wondering 'cause I dunno if I can afford any.

Fox Metro Discer

a few dpots of snow where drifts have caused depth to be about 4-6 inches, other spots with a covering and then others with none at all. Mostly just a covering.

First tourney I have ever run so do not know how many mulligans will be bought. Just trying to make $ for the food pantry.

Well run event and lots of fun!  A pretty good turnout that should help you reach your goal.

Thanks Aaron and the Fox Valley Metro club.  I'll attend your events any time!

Any results yet for this.  I'd be interested to hear how it went

Great tournament! I won three CTPs (one on each hole, each round)! Matt Coynes(sp) won Pro which I played for kicks (I usally play AM1 and was playing it blind). Dunno after that though...Thanks!

I'll second that.  Well worth the drive and the entry fee, and glad that we raised so much for charity.
