2007 DISContinuum Club Challenge

I talked to Tom last night. Having the singles round will speed up the process in the morning and give players time to decide partners for the afternoon. I'm also assuming if we took a poll most of the players would prefer the second round to be doubles.

If the teepads are really sloppy, can we please have leeway of teeing off 'anywhere' as long as it's behind the flags? My lower joints will thank you. So will my doubles partner.

Although I guess if they're limestone or woodchips it should be OK.

Was out earlier today. The pads are dry except 2 of them and they will be fixed tomorrow, so we should have good teepads for Saturday. As well as a few spots that are a little wet from the thaw.
Fox Valley Metro is planning on haveing: Randy Morre jr and Sr, the Esquivel clan (5), the Camps, Aaron S, Ron M, Geoff J, Nick B, Tyler W, Rob M, Ryan S, Mike H, Matt W. give or take a few as well.

Eric Johns will be there. It's good to see Randy Sr back in the game. After you left, we hooked up with the Esquivels. Markie launched a 425 footer on #3. And then he threw his Roc. It landed right in line with the basket (325 ft away). I think he's ready for the competition.

Excellent.  Looks like we are going to get a great turnout.  We will have some nice CTPs.  Fox Valley has been working on the course to get it in good shape for the tourney.  They were out yesterday and are going to be out today.

With those numbers it looks like we'll be flying through, at least in comparison to full-field IOS play.

I'm really looking forward to this & to seeing all my disc golf friends I haven't seen since Jack Frost came to town. It's kinda funny how many people you get to know in the small disc golf community.

I think you're safe not bringing your own. I always come via Ogden to Douglas to Old Post & I've always seen eats on Ogden, but I usually go to that bar I mentioned if I'm hungry when I play Oswego.

Google maps reminded me: there's a Culver's, Portillo's, Jimmy Johns, & Red Robin right there.

Just eat a hearty breakfast, skip lunch, & go for burgers & beers at Poorboy's afterwards, like me.
