Paper or Plastic Sports Presents Chains of Pain II - Nov 17/18, C-Tier, Bevier

I am happy to report that the TD report for the event was turned in tonight along with my final payment to the PDGA   It's actually not too bad filling out the PDGA TD Report.

The payout percentages reported were: Open Division: 159% "Pro Event Value", and All Am Divisions: 127% "Am Event Value".

So hopefully as more people start coming out and more sponsorships also come rolling in I can boost those percentages up even higher for future events!

Fun event, I encourage everyone to attend P.O.P. events in the future!  What do you have planned next?  Just an idea- maybe you could do something at Sinnissippi...

If I can get a lot of help from the kind folk that live out in that area, I have no problem bringing something to Sinnissippi!

As far as plans for next year, I'm hoping to run 6-7 sanctioned tournaments.  Right now I'm hoping to put something together for early March, but I'm still in design mode on that.  I'm also scoping out some available dates in September for a specific event that I want to run, and I hope to host the Chains of Pain III at Bevier again around the end of October this time instead of waiting for November.  I'm waiting to get more info on some other dates of other tournaments going on in the area so that I can put together some events with the least amount of conflict!

I'm also going to be vending at the January 12th Ice Bowl in Aurora, and there has been some talk about running an event at Oswego with Fox Valley Metro DGC involved sometime next year as well...

That would be great, I'd love to play a sanctioned tourney at Oswego. Hopefully in the spring before all the poison ivy grows

Interesting that they combined it back to a one day thing.  It's probably because I submitted just one TD report for the 2 days, although when talking about the layouts I specifically said that configuration A and B were for Saturday Pro/Adv players and configuration C and D were for Sunday Int/Rec players.  A & C and B&D were the exact same layouts, just different days.  I also gave them detailed weather reports because I know everyone listed together might affect ratings.

So I guess we'll see what happens, and if I run another two-day event I'll find out more details on what in the world I need to do differently.

not yet, with Thanksgiving and then the following weekend heading out of state for the in-laws Christmas I haven't given it enough attention.  I also prioritized getting in the TD report over the trophy picture.

I mean, c'mon, the empty picture frame isn't pretty enough? lol

Just an FYI for those of you who are still expecting their personalized trophy picture... I have all but 1 printed, but that will be done with no problem tonight, and I should have them all mailed out tomorrow.  I could bore everyone with the laundry list of stuff that has kept me from working on these, but they are finally going to fill your empty picture frame soon enough.

Let me know if I screwed up your name or anything like that and I'll replace it.  If you think that the picture/text sucks, well, too bad, I won't replace that lol.
