Let's just be clear Doug - I've been a Detroit fan the whole time, but my commentary has nothing to do with the teams I root for. The only bandwagon I'm jumping on is "respond to overly stupid comments" and not Dan's bandwagon. Although he is also in that group I believe, so I guess I did jump on, or he jumped on.

Taylor, there is clearly a pretty broad ranging conspiracy against Doug Payne here.  That is the only way to explain why supporters of different teams seem to unanimously disagree with his viewpoints that are presented in a semi-offensive manner.  I guess we are both a part of the Payne Conspiracy Bandwagon, or "PayCon" as we've been referring to it at the meetings.

I have never used hockey terms on this forum. facebook, yes, but that was directed at 2 PFC league members(friends of mine)
not anybody at this forum. I only have 1 friend here, and he knows how to read and not go google to find out where I was wrong!
I understand this is a forum, but it's usually you who comments about my posts, long beore I laugh at yours. I may laugh or joke around, but I never go to extremes to pinpoint how you are wrong.  but you on the other hand make it a point to why I am always wrong.

I apologize now for cheering for the Cardinals and the Steelers. Sorry I don't cheer for the Bears, Cubs, or any hockey team. I will try to find some time to root for your teams.  I mean hell, all people living in Illinois should like Chicago teams. My bad. You wont hear nothing else about the Steelers or Cardinals for awhile. Maybe October?  here that is. If you stumble upon my facebook page, I can't say the same for that!
But can I talk about the Bulls? or is that all just a bunch of horse doo doo as well?

My predictions are that the favored teams win all 4 games. I also think that the Patriots would beat the Steelers had they not gotten smoked by the Tebows. The same Tebows that the Detroit Lions of Detroit, Michigan beat by a lot. In Denver. Where the Denver Tebows play.

but considering I have alot of suckers down in this part of the state that like to throw away money on the Bears and Cubs, I have enough of theirs over the last 5 years that giving you $50 wouldn't be a problem, knowing it's probably going to get used for a golf tournament, so all is good. And IT'S ON!!!  So to be sure on this, if Pats only win by 12, is that a push, so I would still just owe $25? don't know how you do that. but Denver lost by 18 at home, earlier in the year so it probably wont even matter!

Unbelievable. 3 lead changes in the last 4 minutes. Instant Classic for sure!   5 turnovers. Can they play like that in the cold next week is now the question? But Impressive for sure today!

Looks like we're back to even Doug.  No money owed.  Brady 6 TD's game over.

I had to leave at halftime on the other game.  Can't believe all the points that got tossed up.  You turn it over 5 times, you're chances of winning are not good.  Still, Niners had go 7 plays 85 yards on the last drive to pull it off.  Unreal.  I still don't like the chances for the Niners to go on the road and score enough points to beat the Packers, not that tomorrow's game against the Giants is a foregone conclusion.  Feels like we're headed for a Packers vs Patriots Super Bowl.  In the dome in Indy with those 2 offenses and those 2 defenses, we could be looking at a college bowl game type score.  67-56 or something crazy.

I am rooting for Tebow, but I don't think he can sustain winning with these kind of passing #'s.

I think it depends a lot on their division deciding whether or not they want to be competitive football teams or not. He's kind of fun to watch so I hope he keeps on trucking too.

I was pretty close with my predictions for the Ravens (14-13) and Pats (44-17) games.  The Ravens offense is just not very good.  I think New England has emerged as the dominant team in the AFC.  Baltmore will make it tougher on them, but Flacco isn't going to keep up with Brady.

Question for you Tom.  The Packers gave up more yards this season than any team in the history of the NFL.  How did they go from being a top rated defense last season to the worst this season?  The secondary looks brutal.  In my opinion Charles Woodson has no business playing CB.  He has lost his quickness and simply gambles on big plays at this point in his career.  His instincts are good enough that I think he'd be a good safety, similar to Rod Woodson at the end of his career.

Giants vs Niners.  Who had that one?  This thing has setup great for the Pats to pick up their 4th Super Bowl.

I really did want to see the Saints vs Packers showdown, but neither could figure out how to hold on to the ball.  This weekend emphasized the point that turnovers usually tell the story.  Major choke jobs by both teams.

Giants seem to have a knack for sucking all year and then getting some momentum right before the playoffs begin.  Giants vs Patriots Super Bowl rematch?  Or the Niners have a good shot at getting that 6th title to tie the Steelers.
