I played there yestarday on the way home from my parents. I really enjoyed this course. Hole 1 is pretty cool if you don't throw the hyzer route around the tree. They should have moved the tee up a few feet so that single tree to the right blocks the hyzer route. Hole #2 is a nice blind downhill hole. There is some good length to the rest of the course & nice elevation.

There are a few conflicts with tee/fairway. I think 7 tee is right in the hyzer route of #6 fairway.

#9 is a long hole. It has a long narrow fairway (400+). On the right of the fairway is a big drainage ditch with high grass. I managed to throw my disc directly into the culvert. I looked for a while & finally found it inside.

The high grass is similar to the grass at Round Lake when it is not mowed.

Met up with Micky and Rich there today. I've played with Micky quite a few times at Buffalo Grove. I think Brett said he played with him once also. I'd never met Rich before. It was warm, blustery and fun. It was about time I met someone I knew there!

Jon,

Did you post an IOS Flyer out there? If so, i'll add it to the list.

Don't recall the names of those guys but if I saw their faces I might know them.

I've got an errand in Palatine this Saturday around 11 (but flexible), looks to be only a couple miles from the course. I could play either before (9ish) or after (12:30ish).

Unless it's raining.
thanks,

Played there today and enjoyed the course. Not too tough, but fun.

My one BIG problem was the bugs. There where swarms of flying ants the size of baby teradayctols EVERYWHERE!

It was so bad by holes 3 through 6 you had trouble seeing when they swarmed around your head.

The bugs are new since I played there last. I almost played today but went with BG.

Glad I avoided the swarms!

could someone be so kind and hook me up with some directions, coming from libertyville

aric

--Take Milwaukee or 83 to Route 22.
--Take 22 west to Quentin road(first stoplight after kemper)
--Take a left and stay on Quentin (major streets you will pass are Rand rd (Route 12), Lake-Cook rd, Dundee Rd, and Northwest Highway)
--Stay on Quentin until the second stoplight past Northwest Highway (Colfax rd is the first light after NW Hwy)
--Take a left on Woods (i think that is the street name), it has a different name going right and if you get to palatine rd (7-11 on corner) you have gone too far.
--Go right on the first little street to get to the parking lot.  :D
