Phsical therapy is over.

I go in tomorrow for my "progress report" and have an appointment with the surgeon sometime next week

Last two days of physical therapy involved me running on a treadmill which was something I never thought would be possible.

When I crutched into their office the first day, I couldn't move my foot up and down, running 6.5mph for 8mins nearly brough tears to my eye, I was so inspired and moved and what these people had done.

So far *knock on wood* so good. Tendon has stayed in place, experienced very little pain rebuilding my muscles.. so I'm really digging this process.

If all goes well, it was so worth the trouble. I'll never take a day of running or walking for granted

Ahhhhhhhhhhllllllllllllllrighty..

Went into physical therapy to get re-evaluated.

They had originally planned on it taking three months to be rehabbed, it's had only been one, soo...

Did a bunch of stupid things, he said everything was looking good, untill he had me balance on my right foot and try to lift my weight up onto my toes.. Couldn't even get off the ground.

Then he noticed discoloration and said there might be something still going on neurologicaly, and he said that is always the last to heal.

They like to tease me there so he said something about amputation and I flipped, and he started laughing lol, asses ;)

Anywho, It's strong, but not in all areas. He said atleast 4 more weeks..

*sigh*

Patience, grasshopper. In due time you'll be back to 100%, just don't rush it.

So, white boy, your vertical leap goes from slim to none.  Hold off on the jump putts.  Otherwise, you should be ready to let fly.  Read your post to start the thread.  You sure have come a long way.

D

Actually, my vertical would be off my left foot, and it's probably higher than it's even been..

Whose white now boy? :D

I live and die by the jump putt.. too useful to be without

Dan Michler

You could always make the move to the Roadrunner putt.

IT IS OVER!!

I TOSSED THIS WEEKEND FOR THE FIRST TIME SINCE NOVEMEBR 7TH, AND HAD PHYSICAL THERAPY TODAY!! THEY EVALUATED ME AND DID ALL THESE TESTS, AND TOLD ME I WAS GOOD TO GO!!!

I'VE PROVED SO MANY DOCTORS WRONG, AND SO MANY FRIENDS RIGHT!

This injury has really changed my perspective and appreciation for things. Lord works in mysterious ways. It also showed me who my real friends are.

God bless 'em!

Drinks all around!
